Kassandra's passion for working with foster and adoptive families is deeply personal. Having a foster brother, she has witnessed firsthand the challenges and experiences within the foster care system. Kassandra brings a solid educational and experiential background to her role. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and has gained valuable experience working in a group home. Additionally, she is a Mandated Reporter and holds certifications in CPR and Water Safety.
Kassandra's approach to her work is deeply influenced by her personal experiences. She states, "I enjoy doing this job because I know firsthand the patience and unconditional positive regard that is needed to help a child learn how to self-regulate. Having witnessed this modeled by my own mom gives me a unique insight into how to offer it to other children who are striving to learn." This belief underscores her commitment to making a positive and lasting impact on the lives of the children she works with.
